Social Networking Sites
I’ve been watching our stats and trying to make the site grow a little everyday. At first I focused on the search engines and trying to get the site ranked but found that a lot of the keywords did not bring in the amount of traffic I wanted.
I moved into the social network communities and started working with them. While I’ve been trying to get our number of unique visitors per day up, Donny has been looking at places we have been advertising that have not been converting and removing advertising dollars from them. Causing our numbers to go down.
I just wanted to say that between the social network sites and the new rankings on the search engines our unique visitors per day are increasing. And I’m about to bump it up a notch to see if I can get us a new record day for unique visitors.

7 Deadly Sins Wristbands
Seven Deadly Sins Wristbands, Celebrate a Human Weakness.
I guess it was just a mater of time before people started getting upset about not having a cause and being unable to wear a wristband.
The ‘World’s most popular blogging anesthesiologist‘ has made up a new set of wristbands for those that don’t want to get into the save the world cause.
The wristbands are;
Pride is excessive belief in one’s own abilities, that interferes with the individual’s recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.
Envy is the desire for others’ traits, status, abilities, or situation.
Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.
Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.
Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.
Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.
Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

Another Use For Wristbands
Right when I finish writing a post about all the ways you can use wristbands I run across a post talking about Indie quartet, Little Man Tate, celebrate the release of their new single, ‘Sexy In Latin’, with a free show and signing session at HMV’s High Street store in the band’s hometown, Sheffield, on Monday 22nd January.
Due to the band’s huge loyal hometown fanbase, the event will be wristbanded. Free wristbands can be picked up at HMV. This will allow access to the live event and then to the signing. Wristbands will be available only from HMV Sheffield, High Street from 9.00 am on the day of the PA onwards. One pair of wristbands per customer maximum, in person only, while stocks last, subject to availability, at participating store only.
The article is here but what a neat use for wristbands.

Event Planner’s Best Friend, “The Silicone Wristband”
It doesn’t matter rather you’re planning an event for 10 people or 10,000, silicone wristbands is an invaluable tool in making sure everything runs smoothly. Silicone wristbands can eliminate a number of potential problems during your next event. The colors of the wristbands can be used in a number of ways to help your next event run smoothly.
Alcoholic Beverages:
If your selling alcoholic beverages you can give under aged teens a wristband color that notifies the people that are selling the alcoholic beverages that they are under age.
Age or Height:
Silicone wristbands are waterproof and can be easily used at amusement parks to let ride supervisors know when someone meets a certain height or weight limit. Park owners could even color coat the ride signs to let guest know rather they meet the limits before they go to all the trouble of standing in line.
Admissions:
You could easily save time by having wristbands colors that show people who have purchased passes that allow visitors unlimited access and those who have purchased pases with limited access.
Child-Parent Protection:
Daycare centers, preschools, and amusement parks for small children all need to protect the children. By giving each child a different color wristband and the parent an identical colored band you can easily identify the parents and children.
Group Day Trips:
Rather your going on a school filed trip or a group trip around the country having wristbands that help identify the people in your group and the bus they ride on helps keep everyone safe and the event more organized.
Participation:
If your planning a group event at school or church you can give out wristbands to everyone that has agreed to participate.
Company Events:
Let’s say your planning a company picnic at a local park. You can easily identify employees and their family’s by issuing wristbands to everyone attending the party.
As you can see from above there are a lot of ways that wristbands can be used but the best part of all is that there cost effective and you can have your company name and logo branded into every wristband.

The Internet Is Changing
In most cases it’s a lot cheaper to advertise online vs. offline (with the exception of using wristbands). But I have a feeling that’s all about to change. As more and more people start using the online world as a means to make a living the prices for advertising will increase.
As the price of advertising online begins to rise we will start weeding out a lot of the attempts of running an online business. At this moment in time the traffic is cheap and the site owner feels that there is no need to try and improve his visitors experience. But I’m already starting to hear the whining as the cost of traffic begins to rise.
There are some that will cry about the cost and others that will understand the free ride is over and it’s time to start improving their websites. The ones that improve their designs, fix their shopping carts, clean up their copy and look for new and better ways to improve their visitors experience. These will be around in the coming years. The ones that continue to look for free or cheap traffic will continue to find that there is never enough traffic to convert their visitors into customers.
At Wristbands With A Message we have already started working towards improving our visitors experience and we are just getting started.

Wristbands And Your Business
One of the things I most enjoy about my job is interacting with all the different Internet companies. It’s common wisdom that such businesses are exceptionally dynamic and innovative, and my interactions with some of them over the past few years supports this view.
Wristbands With A Message.com offers a unique opportunity for these companies. Many companies looking to gain more exposure have turned to Wristbands With A Message.com for help. Wristbands give you the opportunity to advertise your business while at the same time being hip and cool. If you order over 1,000 wristbands you’re able to get them for less then $0.69 each.
This means that you can place your logo, company name and tag line on the bracelets and hand them out like business cards. The only difference is that these are worn on the persons arm for the whole world to see.

Wristband Website
We are still working on the site and trying to get the shopping cart to function a little differently.
Some changes you should be seeing in the next 7 days.
1. We will be adding more fonts to the site.
2. We will be adding icons that you will be able to pick from and have added to your bracelet.
3. You will be able to upload your logo or icon and have added on your bracelet.
4. We will be cutting out a lot of the steps it currently takes to order something.
